Talked to my son today

I talked to my son John today. He is still at Naval Station Great Lakes and is doing well. He completed Mod 10 in his OS-A School and should be done Mod 11 this week. There are a total of 12 Mods befor he gets done. He should be finished by the 1st of November. Meanwhile, my wife Vicki and I finished cutting down an ornamental plum tree in our yard that died when we had a frost last spring. Vicki also cut down two large bushes in our yard that were diseased.
