Fake turf watered as supplies dry up in North Carolina


Yesterday I watched the news and saw that residents of North Carolina would be fined $1000.00 and have their water shut off if they watered their lawns or did not conserve enough. Then today I see this in the news "Fake turf watered as supplies dry up.Hockey fields need soaking, officials say; Duke coach." How sad, when sports come before people. Durham, which has about 69 days left in its water supply at the current use rate, has banned all outdoor watering. Thats right, people don't need to drink but they really need to play field hockey? This is just unbelievable.
