John's Ship the USS Doyle was in the News.
"USS DOYLE – The USS Doyle (FFG 39) is the Navy team’s Fleet Honoree for the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway. The USS Doyle was commissioned on May 21, 1983, and is named after Vice Admiral James Henry Doyle The USS Doyle’s mission is to provide multi-threat protection for military, merchant and shipping, amphibious task forces and underway replenishment groups. Simply stated, the crew of the USS Doyle provides a well-maintained ship, operated by a well-trained crew, ready for a variety of peacetime and wartime tasking."
