GeekCorps: Geeks for a Good Cause

Geekcorps is a hard-working nonprofit that trains people in the developing world to use technology. Volunteers typically spend at least 4 months working intensively with locals who want to use technology to accomplish a goal, like creating a network. Geekcorps pays the volunteers' travel expenses, housing, meals and other incidental expenses.

Thanks for the Geekcorps shout-out. We try our best to make the experience highly rewarding and minimal cost to volunteers. With a 70% "I want to re-up" rate, I think we're achieving that goal.
