Firefox blows away Internet Explorer when it comes to security

Microsoft's Internet Explorer picks up another security hole. It may be rated as less critical, but it is the 6th security hole found this year. On the other hand, Firefox has had only 1 security hole for the year. Taking those numbers a bit farther, Microsoft fixed only none of the 6 security holes found this year. However, the Mozilla team did fix the 1 hole that Firefox had.

Security Holes Found this Year-
6 - Internet Explorer
1 - Firefox

This Year's Security Holes Fixed-
0 of 6 - Internet Explorer
1 of 1 - Firefox

Once again, Firefox blows away Internet Explorer when it comes to security.

I'm not sure whether Firefox is more secure than IE just yet. I wanna wait and see what happens to the number of holes found once FF gains extreme popularity (30-40% market share).

I do love Firefox though, that's for sure.
