Add the Windows Update shortcut to the XP Start Menu

To add Windows Update link to the XP Start Menu, try this:

Click Start, Run and type %SystemRoot%\system32

Locate the file wupdmgr.exe (might show as wupdmgr) and select it

Right-click the file and choose Pin to Start menu

Or, you may create a shortcut to the file and place it in the Desktop, Start Menu or in the Quick Launch area. Clicking this shortcut launches http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
